Spent the best part of Sat at RHIT with D&T. Saw a prof give a very
entertaining history of chemistry presentation. Inflates a rubber glove
with nitrogen and says we can measure the volume to "five significant
digits". He was cool in his own way.

Then the football game ................... 18 seconds into the game and
we're down by 7. Five minutes pass by the and the score is 28 (Depauw)
to 7 (RHIT). Final: Depauw 60 - RHIT 21. It was little painful to
watch. But not as painful as the guy from Depauw that took a hit and
got launched 7 feet off the ground for 5 yards as he bounced off
assorted RHIT players. It was pretty awesome to watch. I thought for
sure the guy was going to spend the rest of his life typing with the
aid of a stick in his mouth.

Here's some pictures of "The Cave" (where Dan lives in the frat house):

Here's Dan's little brothers (That's Tim on the left) ......

... and Dan's area with a picture of MHB by his monitor ...

Lot of paddles around. God only knows what they do with them when the lights go out.

Today, the GCHS band gave an appreciation concert. Kevin was right up front with his squad. Picture is a little blurry .....

I'm back from a visit to Southampton with the family. Saw my brother's new truck:

... you can't appreciate how big this thing is from the photos ...

... it holds lots of stuff .. including Steve!

I did the route with him on Monday. It was nice to have place to sit.

I also went skeet shooting and blew some holes in the sky. If you look
close, you will see the thing flying (look for the arrow in the
picture).

As always, worked 95% of the time and had fun 100% of the time. Fixed
some computer stuff. Worked in the yard to make space for a storage
shed and helped out with some repairs on the travel lift at the boat
club. Washed the new truck and put a heater in a friends boat.

a particular level of hotness associated with D's significant other.
True, I have made reference to T's minor in hot babes. To set the record straight, I now acknowledge that D's soul mate is a Major Hot Babe. aka: MHB. It is also true that most of Tim's hot babes are, indeed, minors.

to see as much of them as I wanted but I can't complain. They have many
friends and but a short time to mingle and catch up on whatever
requires catching up on. D got to spend some time with my future
daughter in-law. That's cool. T made the rounds and rubbed up against
as many hot babes
as he could. That's cool too. K is on his way back from a Bands of
America contest where I'm told they placed 4th in a field of over a
score, go GC! Heard there were a couple of AAA bands that ruled. Not a
problem. GC can hold its own in the toughest crowd.

Welcome ...

The above three lines speak volumes about what my sperm as become in
the short, blink, of an eye. With time, I will convey my observations
about the path each follows as they make their respective marks in the
world. I hope the world is ready.

First, who's who?

Dan - The oldest. A technological wonder grown by a biological process.
Capable of dissecting and distilling complex issues into simple terms.
Looks once, never forgets. 3rd year college: Computer
Science/Engineering.

Tim - Quiet ... waiting ... and then ...... BAM! A one-liner that
leaves you insecure about your ability to remain continent in a social
setting. Smart as all get out. Hangs out with a lot of hot babes. 1st year college: Chemistry & Physics with a minor in .... MORE HOT BABES.

Kevin - The youngest. EMOtional, creative. Bleeds eighth-notes. Music
runs through him like the wind through trees. 3rd year high school.
Plays alto and tenor sax in assorted school bands. Self taught bass
guitar and good at it to boot!

As it happens, today they are all home. D&T from college (they both
attend Rose Hulman Institute of Acquired Family Savings) for a long
weekend. K is presently rattling the house with his bass guitar. It
doesn't get any better than this for a proud dad
